I think the more difficult thing in curling should be throwing the pot. If the strength is not controlled and the angle is not mastered, it will lose the whole game. Its really very difficult. But I admire the spirit of the pitchers. In this case, players have to try to throw a good pot, try to throw a decisive ball and throw two points in order to give their team the upper hand.
The pitcher should have a beginning and an end. If the first seven balls are played well, the other partys last ball makes our previous efforts wasted. Therefore, no one should give up until the end. Thats it.
