          Dear teachers and fellow students,

Everybody is good! My favorite time is Spring Festival.

Remember New Year's Eve, the adults are watching the Spring Festival party, to welcome the arrival of the New Year, we children like to play outside, point firecrackers. New Year's Eve night, every door hung red lanterns, like a red big persimmon, there are more than fifty near our home, the festive atmosphere, I miss very much. After the Spring Festival party, I will sleep for three or four hours, and when I get up, I can eat delicious dumplings. After dinner dad took me to someone else's home New Year's visit, every to a will have a rich harvest, candy, peanuts, melon seeds and so on, after a few, my pocket is bulging, I will be full. Of course, New Year's money will not be less, the money I will be handed over to my mother, such as the need to ask my mother to, occasionally can also get a little pocket money, AT that time I was both happy and depressed, worried that my money will never return.

Pocket money I mostly go to buy some firecrackers, we will put firecrackers in the bottle lit, "when", deafening, sometimes put a few together lit, "boom", the bottle will be blown apart, later know this is very dangerous, easy to hurt people, you can not imitate ah.

The most happy is in the evening to play with fire, a few of our small partners together, so that both can be happy to play, and can keep warm, but also can burn peanuts to eat, until very late to go home, the next morning up, see the pile of ash, will think of the scene we play with fire

Chinese New Year, is the most yearning for childhood things, eat well, have fun, often think of will be that nostalgia and yearning

        Thank you!

My name is ___,I have the honour to share some ideas about Chinese New Year's Day with you here.Well,I am sure you are not strange with it,for it's the most important festival in our country. As we all know,Chinese New Year's Day is on the first day of the first lunar month of the year, usually coming during January and February. When it comes,China will have a long holiday.People who work far away from their hometown all return home to celebrate it.

On the Eve night, all members of the family gather and have a big meal which is called Tuanyuan Fan in Chinese. In north China, people eat dumplings for the meal, while in south China, they have rice, meat and chicken. Parents give pocket money to their children. And the next day which is the first day of the lunar year and is also the most important day during the holiday, people wear new clothes, and give their best wishes to each other from door to door.

Then people begin to go out, traveling and visiting their relatives and friends. Well, these are not all for our Chinese New Year's Day.But I'm sorry I have to stop here because of the time.Thank you!

        第三篇:春節(jié)英文演講稿

January first. The beginning of a new year. As far back in history as we can tell, people have celebrated the start of a new year.

The people of ancient Egypt began their new year in summer. That is when the Nile River flooded its banks, bringing water and fertility to the land. The people of ancient Babylonia and Persia began their new year on March twenty-first, the first day of spring. And, some Native American Indians began their new year when the nuts of the oak tree became ripe. That was usually in late summer.

Now, almost everyone celebrates New Year's Day on January first. Today, as before, people observe the New Year's holiday in many different ways.

The ancient Babylonians celebrated by forcing their king to give up his crown and royal clothing. They made him get down on his knees and admit all the mistakes he had made during the past year.

This idea of admitting wrongs and finishing the business of the old year is found in many societies at new year's. So is the idea of making resolutions. A resolution is a promise to change your ways. To stop smoking, for example. Or to get more physical exercise.

Noise-making is another ancient custom at the new year. The noise is considered necessary to chase away the evil spirits of the old year. People around the world do different things to make a lot of noise. They may hit sticks together. Or beat on drums. Or blow horns. Or explode fireworks.

Americans celebrate the New Year in many ways.

Most do not have to go to work or school. So they visit family and friends. Attend church services. Share a holiday meal. Or watch new year's parades on television. Two of the most famous parades are the Mummer's Parade in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the Rose Parade in Pasadena, California. Both have existed for many years.

Americans also watch football on television on New Year's Day. Most years, university teams play in special holiday games.

For those who have been busy at work or school, New Year's may be a day of rest. They spend the time thinking about, and preparing for, the demands of the new year.

        Everybody is good!

I walk with my mother in the street, suddenly found that the taste of the New Year has gradually thick up, the streets everywhere decorated with lights, people carrying bags shuttle in various shopping malls, to buy New Year's goods, new clothes, and children's favorite fireworks.

I remember my mother told me about the Spring Festival when she was young. During the Spring Festival, every family would not only fry melon seeds and make winter rice candy, but also make rice cakes. Early in the morning pull a load of rice to line up with the hand, as a series of process, do white sticky rice into the rice cake machine, the teacher with a clean technique, teeming with warm, white and tender, thin, soft rice cake out, with a rice cake fell into a ball and customizing all kinds of salty, sweet, stuck, delicious rice cake regiment was created, The cold winter has suddenly become warm.

Now want to eat rice cake, you can go to the supermarket to buy at any time, but has not eaten the taste of my mother at that time, but you can imagine my mother's happy smile at that time.

The Spring Festival let me understand the Spring Festival of all kinds of customs, experience the human world of affection.

        Thank you!
