Universities Should Develop Curriculum about Major
Student should learn well on their major, so that they can get a good job in the future. Universities develops the curriculum about student’s major field ensure student learn more on that field. Moreover, the curriculum focuses on the major will not confuse student’s goals. They will know what exactly they should do by paying all their attention on one field.
學(xué)生應(yīng)該學(xué)好他們的專業(yè)知識,這樣他們才能在將來獲得一份好工作。高校開展專業(yè)課程來確保學(xué)生在該專業(yè)領(lǐng)域?qū)W到更多。確保學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)更多關(guān)于那場。而且,課程的重點主要集中在專業(yè)上,不會干擾到學(xué)生的目標(biāo)。把注意力集中在一個領(lǐng)域可以讓他們確切地知道什么是應(yīng)該做的。
Firstly, a broad field of knowledge is not enough for getting a good job. I am afraid that the curriculum covers a broad field will make students know many things but good for nothing. It is better to have a curriculum focuses on one field and that it is easier for students to have more time working on their major and learn deep on it. Having good knowledge can help students to find a good job after graduate.

Secondly, Students spend a lot of time on a range fields of knowledge cannot concentrate on their major, because they have to work hard on all subjects that really distribute their attention about their major. Student will soon confuse what their priority is. If all classes are focused on student’s major, student can make it clear that what they should do first and they can follow their teachers easily, because they put all their attention and time on that major.
其次,學(xué)生在大范圍的知識學(xué)習(xí)上花大量的時間,他們會無法集中精力與他們的專業(yè)上,因為在每個學(xué)科上他們都必須要努力學(xué)習(xí),這樣真的會分散他們對專業(yè)學(xué)習(xí)的注意力。學(xué)生會很快疑惑他們應(yīng)該把什么放在第一位。如果所有的課程都集中在學(xué)生的專業(yè)上,學(xué)生就能清楚地了解他們首先應(yīng)該做什么,也能夠更好地跟著老師走,因為他們把所有的時間和精力都放在了該專業(yè)上。
From all these above , I think that universities should develop a curriculum focuses on student’s major field to make sure student have more time to work on their major and do well on it. If students want to learn something more than their major, they can learn it after school, there is no need to develop a curriculum covers a broad range of fields.
從上述中,我認為大學(xué)應(yīng)該開展專業(yè)課程來確保學(xué)生有更多的時間放在專業(yè)上,并學(xué)好。如果學(xué)生想比專業(yè)知識學(xué)習(xí)更多,他們可以放學(xué)后學(xué)習(xí),沒有必要開設(shè)涵蓋廣泛領(lǐng)域的課程。

Much has been discussed recently on English teaching at college, Someone says that it is a total failure. To some extent , it is reasonable to say so, for after ten-year English learning, most graduates can't properly communicate with foreigners, nor can we translate between languages, let alone write in English. Where are the problem?
To begin with, English teaching at college, to a great extent, teacher-centerde, turning a language class into an information class. It is still very common in the classroom that the teacher explains every language point in detail, while students take notes all the time. Secondly, culture is neglected in English teaching because of poor text design. Some redundant unrealistic materials and a great deal or grammar and structure exercises in the text lead to students memorizing a large vocabulary and a lot of English rules. Few students know how , when and where to use them. Finally, test-oriented education, in a sense, misleads and impedes college English teaching in China. For example, colege English Test Band Four or Six is so overemphasized in some colleges that teachers teach to the test, sacrificing learning for the sake of test results, and students only learn to pass the examination.
As a result ,students actual language competence is weakened though the passing rate has increased. In conclusion, Chinese English teaching is to be reformed. Students should be centered on , culture knowledge ,should be introduced in language teaching , and examination should be dealt with appropiately.
