二、實(shí)習(xí)內(nèi)容
按照老師的安排。我制定了相應(yīng)的實(shí)習(xí)計(jì)劃。在這個(gè)公司里我的主要工作是總經(jīng)理助理。協(xié)助總經(jīng)理做一些日常工作。比如商業(yè)計(jì)劃書的制定和一些文件資料的翻譯等等。
三、實(shí)習(xí)心得體會(huì)
一個(gè)月的實(shí)習(xí)。讓我學(xué)到了很多在書本上沒(méi)學(xué)過(guò)的東西。也讓我對(duì)這個(gè)社會(huì)有了更多深入的了解。我認(rèn)為學(xué)我們這個(gè)專業(yè)或者說(shuō)在做總經(jīng)理助理這個(gè)工作時(shí)應(yīng)當(dāng)具備以下幾種能力:
(一)交際能力
善于與他人交往是做這項(xiàng)工作應(yīng)具備的首要能力。說(shuō)到底。助理其實(shí)也是一種服務(wù)人員。而服務(wù)人員就必須懂得如何與他人接觸?!八恕奔劝ㄍ獠康目蛻?。也包括內(nèi)部的同事和領(lǐng)導(dǎo)。我們必須要學(xué)會(huì)如何與他人建立和維持關(guān)系。學(xué)會(huì)傾聽別人的意見表達(dá)自己的想法。注重交往藝術(shù)。能夠區(qū)別不同性別。不同場(chǎng)合。不同年齡。不同文化背景的人應(yīng)采取交往方式。對(duì)自己一定要有正確的定位。才能在工作中提供優(yōu)質(zhì)的服務(wù)。
(二)合作能力
助理工作不像某些物質(zhì)工作那樣工序分明。無(wú)論是在前臺(tái)還是在后臺(tái)的服務(wù)都必須與公司的上司、下屬、同事、顧客、供應(yīng)商等進(jìn)行合作。另外。做一名助理還應(yīng)當(dāng)有全局觀念。較強(qiáng)的協(xié)調(diào)溝通意識(shí)。學(xué)會(huì)與供應(yīng)商協(xié)商。與同事合作。充分發(fā)揮不同角色的作用。利用現(xiàn)有的各種因素為公司提供滿意的服務(wù)。發(fā)揮助理的中介、紐帶作用。
(三)學(xué)習(xí)能力
在我看來(lái)。整個(gè)實(shí)習(xí)過(guò)程既是我向用人單位提供服務(wù)的過(guò)程。也是一個(gè)學(xué)習(xí)的過(guò)程。助理必須根據(jù)公司和客戶的具體需要確立服務(wù)方式。我們?nèi)绻搅私馑说钠谕>驮侥転樗颂峁﹥?yōu)質(zhì)的服務(wù)。而市場(chǎng)需求的不斷變化就要求我們應(yīng)有不斷學(xué)習(xí)新知識(shí)、新技能的能力。有較強(qiáng)的適應(yīng)能力。我剛到單位的第二天。副總就要求我為公司寫一份商業(yè)計(jì)劃書。但我連商業(yè)計(jì)劃書的格式是什么都不知道。最后只有悶在辦公室通過(guò)上網(wǎng)查詢。才學(xué)習(xí)到商業(yè)計(jì)劃書的寫作方式。該計(jì)劃書完成后。雖然在實(shí)際內(nèi)容上與副總要求的有所差距。但我的學(xué)習(xí)能力卻得到了用人單位的肯定。
(四)教育、說(shuō)服能力
在工作過(guò)程中。助理往往會(huì)成為經(jīng)理和其他工作人員之間的“傳聲筒”。負(fù)責(zé)著將上級(jí)的指示傳達(dá)給下級(jí)。將下級(jí)意見反饋給上級(jí)的任務(wù)。如何給有效的促進(jìn)二者之間的交流。助理就必須通過(guò)語(yǔ)言去吸引人。打動(dòng)人。說(shuō)服人的能力。懂得清晰。簡(jiǎn)潔。明了的表達(dá)中心思想。為上下級(jí)提供準(zhǔn)確易懂的信息。也就是說(shuō)。在這樣一個(gè)信息溝通的過(guò)程中。個(gè)人溝通能力直接影響著溝通的結(jié)果。
(五)文化修養(yǎng)
要與公司其他員工進(jìn)行良好的溝通。我認(rèn)為文化修養(yǎng)也是應(yīng)必備的素質(zhì)。具備廣博的知識(shí)和良好的精神面貌才有利于交流。
(六)技術(shù)性能力
技術(shù)性能力是完成某一項(xiàng)具體活動(dòng)所需要的本領(lǐng)。有些公司往往通過(guò)培訓(xùn)。使工作人員掌握一定的操作程序。適應(yīng)崗位的需要。而對(duì)于某些新招聘的人員來(lái)說(shuō)。具備某方面的技術(shù)性能力往往是進(jìn)入某一行業(yè)最起碼的要求。作為我們專業(yè)的學(xué)生。我們的優(yōu)勢(shì)技能就是對(duì)英語(yǔ)的熟練運(yùn)用。我之所以能夠應(yīng)征到這個(gè)公司來(lái)做助理。很大程度上也是因?yàn)檫@個(gè)優(yōu)勢(shì)。
(七)管理能力

function and application of descriptive translation studies
1 introduction
the intention of this study is to explore possible advantages of descriptive translation studies as in its application in translation practice and translation analysis.
since early 20th century, translation studies gradually broke away from the marginal status within other related disciplines and established itself as an empirical science. from then on, schools of thought have kept coming out and each claims its legitimacy for existence. among these schools is descriptive translation studies (dts).
dts approaches translation from an empirical perspective. translation is viewed to be a social activity having significant importance in the receiving culture and for the target community. therefore, translation is dealt with beyond the linguistic realization and language comparison, and is incorporated in social and cultural context.
my attention was first directed to dts by its peculiar characteristic of observation, description and explanation. the subject is whatever happens in translation practice, from the determination of prospective function of translation to the process of translator&’s choice of strategies, brainstorming and the revision, to the final product making appearance in the target community.
the method of dts is basically descriptive. the prescriptive tendency and the problem-solution pattern is abandoned. translation phenomena are noted down. with accumulated data, some underlying truths about translation will come out which will prove to be instructive not only for theoretical probe but also for applied translation practice. i will apply this descriptive method in the case study of this thesis.
a convenient tool has been set up to conduct dts. norm is operative at every stage of description and explanation. function, process and product and their relationship as well are skeletal structure of what constitute descriptive studies. translation phenomena are accounted for with the help of norm.
the case taken in this thesis is the chinese classic the dream of red mansions. two english versions translated respectively by yang hsien-yi and david hawks are compared and observations are made in regard to their translation approaches.
in this regard, my observations are limited to several aspects, i hope in-depth observation and explanation will done in light of dts.
2 outline
2.1 development and major concepts of dts
in this part i will describe holms&’ basic map of dts and the relationship between function, process and product. i will also discuss some important concepts such as pseudo-translation, multiple translation, translationese, norm etc.
2.2 methodolgy
i will in this part discuss the methodology of dts before i apply the same to the case study in this thesis with emphasis to be placed on semiotic approach and the concept norm.
2.3 dts in contrast to other theories
a contrast study will be conducted here with the objective to find the difference of dts from other theories such as equivalence theory and the chinese xin da ya criteria. some advantage will possibly be shown in this study.
2.4 case study
in this part, translation of the dream of red mansions (also translated as the story of the stone) will be under investigation in light of dts. translation samples to be quoted here will be selected at random.
2.5 conclusion
based on the above elaboration of dts and the case study, possible conclusion will be on the advantage of dts in specific study of translation. suggestions on further research efforts will be made also.

英譯漢,首先遇到的一個(gè)問(wèn)題就是透徹地理解原文??匆黄獤|西,可以有不同的目的。若為獲取信息,抓住大意就可以了。若是為了消遣,那就可以看懂多少算多少。若是為了翻譯,那就非透徹理解原文不可。有時(shí)似乎覺(jué)得懂了,但翻譯起來(lái)還是不知如何下手,究其原因,可能仍是未能真正理解原文。在這種情況下,若勉強(qiáng)去譯,便會(huì)采取機(jī)械的辦法,逐字翻譯,許多錯(cuò)誤的譯法就是這樣產(chǎn)生的。就在第三周學(xué)校請(qǐng)來(lái)的李老師為我們所作的講座中,他提到了關(guān)于business一詞的不同用法,當(dāng)出現(xiàn)在“Imean business”中,句子表示“我是認(rèn)真的,”當(dāng)出現(xiàn)在“business administration”中,這個(gè)詞組表示“工商管理?!边@充分說(shuō)明了一個(gè)詞用在不同的場(chǎng)合會(huì)有不同的含義,我們不能只想到自己最熟悉的那個(gè)詞的含義,而要充分利用上下文,依靠能夠獲得的相關(guān)信息,判斷出詞的確切含義。若想避免這樣的誤譯,可以倒回去,把譯文和原文對(duì)照一下,看它是否和原文的意思相吻合。在遇到習(xí)語(yǔ)時(shí),更要勤查詞典。
翻譯是運(yùn)用一種語(yǔ)言把另一種語(yǔ)言所表達(dá)的思維內(nèi)容準(zhǔn)確而完整地表達(dá)出來(lái)的語(yǔ)言行為。當(dāng)然紙上談兵是無(wú)稽之談,光有理論知識(shí)而不實(shí)踐操作也是沒(méi)有用的。有位翻譯家這么說(shuō)過(guò),“學(xué)翻譯猶如學(xué)游泳。只在岸邊看別人游,或只聽教練講解,是學(xué)不會(huì)的?!彼砸胩岣咦约旱姆g能力,一定要通過(guò)實(shí)踐。實(shí)踐可以分為兩類,直接的實(shí)踐和間接的實(shí)踐。
所謂直接的實(shí)踐,就是自己親身參加的實(shí)踐,也就是自己動(dòng)手翻譯。一回生,二回熟,日積月累,第一手經(jīng)驗(yàn)多了,做起來(lái)得心應(yīng)手,翻譯能力有所提高。所謂“熟能生巧”,就是這個(gè)道理。但自己能譯的東西是有限的,從這種實(shí)踐中得出的經(jīng)驗(yàn)也是有限的。因此,還需要借助于間接的實(shí)踐。
所謂間接的實(shí)踐,就是研究別人的譯文。比如,一篇文章在手,準(zhǔn)備翻譯,這時(shí)先找一些有關(guān)的資料或同類文章的譯文看一看,在詞語(yǔ)和風(fēng)格方面定會(huì)有所借鑒。別人的譯文是別人直接實(shí)踐的產(chǎn)物,看了別人的譯文,就是從事間接實(shí)踐。從總結(jié)經(jīng)驗(yàn)的角度來(lái)看,直接實(shí)踐和間接實(shí)踐具有同等的價(jià)值。因此,有空的時(shí)候,找一些譯文來(lái),尤其是好的譯文,加以研究,總結(jié)出一些規(guī)律性的東西,對(duì)于提高自己的翻譯能力是大有好處的。
有時(shí)我們會(huì)把注意力過(guò)多地集中在原文的字面上,并不深入思考原作者要表達(dá)的是什么意思,翻譯起來(lái)就參照原文的說(shuō)法,把英文詞換上漢字,稍微調(diào)整一下順序就完事了。這樣的譯文,不是歪曲原意,就是詞不達(dá)意,或者聽著別扭,不像中文。
要想翻譯意思,必須先弄清楚原文的意思。這個(gè)時(shí)候,我們要問(wèn)自己:作者說(shuō)的是什么?作者的意思是什么?只有弄明白這些問(wèn)題,才抓住了作者所要表達(dá)的意思。這時(shí)動(dòng)手翻譯,才能真心做到翻譯意思。在這次的實(shí)習(xí)翻譯中,我總結(jié)出3個(gè)翻譯意思的方法:
第一,深入考慮關(guān)鍵詞語(yǔ)的含義,也就是要恰當(dāng)選詞。我們常常喜歡在一個(gè)英語(yǔ)詞和一個(gè)漢語(yǔ)詞之間劃等號(hào),對(duì)一個(gè)詞的某一個(gè)意思印象較深,一見這個(gè)詞,首先想到這個(gè)意思。這就會(huì)妨礙我們深入考慮這個(gè)詞在這個(gè)上下文里的含義。
第二,充分發(fā)揮漢語(yǔ)的表達(dá)力。中華文化歷史悠久,中西方思考方式不同,所以英語(yǔ)譯成漢語(yǔ),要符合我們東方人的語(yǔ)言習(xí)慣,這樣才能看得舒服,讀得也舒服。
總之,要想提供好的譯文,弄清原文的意思之后,不能逐字照譯,而要把原文撇開,反復(fù)思索怎樣才能地把這個(gè)意思用漢語(yǔ)表達(dá)出來(lái)。詞語(yǔ)怎樣處理,語(yǔ)序如何改變,結(jié)構(gòu)怎樣調(diào)整,加不加語(yǔ)氣詞,都要考慮。語(yǔ)氣詞是漢語(yǔ)特有的,運(yùn)用得當(dāng),可為譯文增色不少。一個(gè)呆板的句子,加一個(gè)“了”字就全活了。有時(shí)順不順要靠耳朵來(lái)決定,讀出聲來(lái),聽一聽,很有用。自己拿不定主意,還可以問(wèn)問(wèn)周圍的人,聽聽他們的感覺(jué)。
英語(yǔ)的翻譯不僅要整體把握句子的結(jié)構(gòu),在忠實(shí)于原作,準(zhǔn)確、完整地表達(dá)原作的內(nèi)容的同時(shí),還要做到語(yǔ)言明白流暢,句、段意思連貫,符合語(yǔ)法、邏輯和修辭的規(guī)范。翻譯是一個(gè)把一種語(yǔ)言內(nèi)涵用另外一種語(yǔ)言來(lái)表達(dá)的復(fù)雜的文化信息交換過(guò)程,它必然涉及與語(yǔ)言有關(guān)的各種各樣的文化因素。因而不同語(yǔ)言和文化間的對(duì)比分析就成了翻譯工作中不可或缺的部分。英語(yǔ)和漢語(yǔ)雖有相似之處,如都有一詞多義現(xiàn)象、模糊語(yǔ)義現(xiàn)象、構(gòu)詞可用合成法或詞綴法、句子主要成分為主語(yǔ)、謂語(yǔ)和賓語(yǔ),都用明喻、隱喻、借喻等修辭格使表達(dá)生動(dòng)等等,但由于它們分屬不同語(yǔ)系,在不同的文化中形成且承載著不同的文化傳統(tǒng),其間仍存在著較大的差別。如英語(yǔ)的抽象和漢語(yǔ)的具體,英語(yǔ)的剛性和漢語(yǔ)的柔性,英語(yǔ)的形攝和漢語(yǔ)的神攝,英語(yǔ)的語(yǔ)法型和漢語(yǔ)的語(yǔ)用型,英語(yǔ)的形合和漢語(yǔ)的意合,等等。而從事商務(wù)英語(yǔ)翻譯,必須具備良好的英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言功底,而商務(wù)知識(shí)是做好翻譯的另一個(gè)必備的條件,否則呈現(xiàn)給讀者的譯文就沒(méi)有邏輯性和可讀性,甚至?xí)`導(dǎo)讀者。

It is in JINXIU travel agency that I have my practice.There are six departments and I was in two departments: treatmemt department and ticket department. My job is receiving guests in the office and ordering plane ticket for costomers, and some times I also answered the phone, helping visitors understand traveling route of travel agency or taking tickets for them.
Because tourism is a service industry, so I want to learn how to communicate with different People and learn some business about travel agency.Must pay attention to others' every action and every movement, must learn the skill which converses with the visitor. Through this experience, I received some knowledge we must understand first as follows,
First, I ought to kown the traveling place’s inside and outside traffic and the environment protection.

Travel agency is the professoinal organazation which provides traveling service for people. Since the professioal nature, the tourism is the service industry. It provides meal, hotel, route etc service. Service atitude is very important in tourism. You ought to smile to every person in order to make them finding you are friendly. And I must strive for the opportunity. Regarding this point, I have the depth experience. Because is an intern, therefore the company cannot invest too many resources to you. The company thought the practiceborns with is the practice finished must return to the school tostudy, future not necessarily will be able in the practice unit work.Often practised the unit to arrange the work for you, could not specially teach you more things. After I entered company period oftime, I realize this question. How then solves this problem? Whenever after I complete the work task, I all can help other staff to handlesome trivial matters on own initiative. For example: Printing, typing, scheduling. This procedure advantage is obtains outside other staffs' favorable impressions, they in unconsciously center already relied on you, some matters were used to it you to do. Thus, I have the opportunity to ask for advice other staffs, learns more knowledge,obtains more experiences.
In addition, I must work hard and serious. I found everything is not easy. I can’t make any mistakes when I check the plane ticket or seting a fax, or I can make a worse consequence. And I also should be careful for my writing, it’s very important to make other people understand you meaning well. From this experience, I feel sincere to every person are so important, if you are sincere to others, they can sincere to you too. Sincere is very important to communicate with others.
