這輪的復(fù)習(xí)重要是專項復(fù)習(xí)。從農(nóng)村英語教學(xué)的實際來看，學(xué)生在聽、讀、寫等方面的能力比較薄弱。聽力的考查分?jǐn)?shù)是20分，因此在復(fù)習(xí)的過程中有必要進(jìn)行適量的聽力強化練習(xí)，不能光顧著對語言的歸納總結(jié)而忽視了聽的能力的訓(xùn)練。這一點我校主要是用與考試題型一致的材料進(jìn)行訓(xùn)練、培養(yǎng)學(xué)生聽的習(xí)慣和能力。每天早讀讓學(xué)生聽15分鐘，然后讓學(xué)生大聲朗讀，俗話說讀書百遍，其義自現(xiàn)。再又從這幾年的試題來看，逐漸加強了對考生閱讀能力的綜合考查。
從完形填空到閱讀理解都是以短文的形式出現(xiàn)，這說明了試題不僅要求學(xué)生掌握所學(xué)的詞匯和語法知識，還要求學(xué)生結(jié)合文章大意對其進(jìn)行綜合運用能力。我們學(xué)校的學(xué)生這一題的得分總是不高，因此這兩類題型很有必要進(jìn)行專門性的操練。使學(xué)生達(dá)到一定熟練的程度，提高學(xué)生的閱讀理解能力，同時也提高學(xué)生的答題速度。
在第一、二輪復(fù)習(xí)過程中也應(yīng)該培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的寫作能力，如可以要求學(xué)生寫周記，和對各種類型作文進(jìn)行寫作練習(xí)，而且要及時給出評價，把錯了的句子與學(xué)生一起糾正。另一方面也要對單項選擇、英漢互譯、補全對話作專項的訓(xùn)練。同樣做到“講——練——評”。

My topic is Honesty. As a correspondent of the Qingdao Morning News, I visited Dr. James Gilman, the President of the International Committee for Marco Polo Studies in England. In this picture, this is James, and this is me and we are looking at a dragon’s tooth. This is a true story. /chuzhong/chusan/ 65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old.
He often visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there, which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted one to keep as a treasure. In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had to leave. On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one of the teeth from the dragon’s mouth.
He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at having stolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on his conscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decided to put right his childish error. In 20x, he visited Qingdao and returned it to the Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome.
When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported on his visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I think to err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correct one’s error. Honesty is a vital quality of human behaviour. So we should try to keep an honest mind in everything we say and do.
